A much anticipated, new café, Love the Bite, is now open at Launchpad Southend in the Airport Business Park.
The café will be open to members of the public and customers of Launchpad Southend from Monday 23rd September.
Love the Bite is itself a start-up business founded by Sandra Kozubek and Alessia Quatraccioni.
Sandra and Alessia will be offering a range of delicious and exciting breakfast and lunch meals, snacks and drinks made from scratch and prioritising local suppliers.
Launchpad Southend is just off Cherry Orchard Way so the café is also hoping to attract people from other local businesses and dog-walkers enjoying Cherry Orchard Country Park.
Both Sandra and Alessia have a successful background in catering and hospitality but have always worked for other businesses.
Talking about taking the leap from being an employee to founding their own business, Sandra said:
“We’ve both always been so passionate about good food, quality ingredients and making customers happy.
“It was time to step out on our own and put all that passion and love into our own thing.
“We’re really excited to get going!”
Love the Bite hosted a special preview event for customers of Launchpad on Friday 20th September.
Launchpad’s Centre Manager, Laura Johnson said:
“We’re so happy to welcome Love the Bite!
“We specialise in helping start-ups and scale-ups to grow so Sandra and Alessia will have access to the same support as any of our customers.
