Start Up Your Business

 Start Up Your Business is a free four-week online programme designed to help you turn your ideas into action. Whether you are still exploring an idea or have launched a business within the last 12 months, participants will join a small online group of 10 people and spend one hour a week learning from experienced Essex-based start-up experts.

Start Up Your Business is free and open to all Essex residents aged 25+ (excluding Southend and Thurrock) who want to start a new business or have a business less than 12 months old.  You can take part whether you are employed or unemployed – you do not need any experience, all you need is a business idea.

The Consortium is delivering this in collaboration with the Essex Growth Agency.  There are 4 groups, each with 10 participants; Group 1 starts on Thursday 12 November 2026. Places are limited and participants must commit to all four sessions. All sessions are delivered on Zoom from 10am-11am.
