Sometimes it’s difficult to avoid confrontation in the workplace and everyday situations can turn volatile extremely quickly.  This Conflict Management Workshop is designed especially for public facing employees – ideal for those in the hospitality and service industry. \nThis workshop will focus on communication methods we can all use to avoid conflict and bring a potentially aggressive situation to a passive and calm conclusion. We will look at barriers to effective communication and how your behaviour can influence the recipient’s behaviour. The workshop will not discuss physical techniques of restraint but it will discuss the Criminal Law Act and use of ‘Reasonable Force’\, along with what constitutes an ‘assault’ and what to do to keep yourself safe.
