But as a business\, how best can you get the most out of Instagram\, a platform that is popular for its visual appeal? \nNot many of us have the budget to hire dedicated staff or third-party agencies to run our account so practical knowledge and skills are vital when we have limited time and resources. \nJoin us for an informative and practical workshop which will provide an overview of how to best utilise Instagram for your organisation. \nTo make this workshop as bespoke as possible we will ask you a few short questions when you register in order for us to understand the needs of the group\, but we will cover the following areas: \n•    The importance of marketing on social media for business\n•    A guide to navigating Instagram’s many features\, inc. SUMMARY:CBAM Masterclass
DESCRIPTION:Following on from our recent webinar\, the aim of this virtual half day masterclass is to demystify the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism and provide businesses with a clear understanding of how to navigate compliance and create a competitive advantage. \nIntroduction\nThe EU’s Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) came into force in October 2023\, with EU importers now obligated to report on the specific embedded emissions of certain goods. If the goods exported to the EU fall under the scope of CBAM\, EU customers will be expecting this emissions data from their non-EU suppliers\, and complying with reporting standards will require a comprehensive understanding of emissions produced in the supply chain and in the supplier’s own production processes. As CBAM moves from its current transition period to the definitive period beginning January 2026\, greater emphasis will be applied on a product’s embedded emissions from a commercial perspective\, as a carbon price will need to be paid to offset these emissions. \nCoupled with the UK’s proposed CBAM coming into full force in 2027\, covering the import of certain products\, it is crucial companies gain a full understanding of the embedded emissions within their supply chains. \nEven if the products exported or imported do not currently fall under the EU CBAM or proposed UK CBAM\, their scope is expected to widen to cover more sectors in the future\, so this may be the opportunity to gain a valuable understanding of what to prepare for. \nAgenda \n\nSection 1: An introduction to the general topic of carbon management and accounting\, introducing basic terminology and concepts to provide clarity on the broader subject before applying these concepts to CBAM.\nSection 2: The EU CBAM\, topics covered will include its background\, scope and timeline\, key players and terminology\, the methodology required to calculate emissions and how these will need to be provided\, and how to capitalise on the opportunity presented by the regulation.\nSection 3: The UK CBAM\, covering the current stage of the UK’s version of CBAM\, its proposed outline scope\, timeline\, methodology and requirements.\n\nWhat will you take away from the session \n\nYou will come away from the Masterclass with a good understanding of both EU and UK CBAM regulations\, as well as broader knowledge of carbon accounting and net zero.\nYou will be equipped to speak with some authority on the CBAM requirements and make informed decisions about how to proceed with tackling their current commercial pressures from their EU customers and help prepare them for the UK CBAM\, thereby supporting business competitiveness and growth.\nAll attendees have the opportunity of a FREE 30 minute 1-2-1 session after the Masterclass to cover more specific or bespoke questions.

SUMMARY:Improving your LinkedIn Skills Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Do you know how to get the most out of LinkedIn for your business? \nLinkedIn is becoming one of the main ways for businesses to market themselves in the professional world. However\, many of us don’t have the budget to hire dedicated staff or third party agencies to run our business accounts and practical knowledge and skills are vital when we have limited time and resources. \nJoin us for an informative and practical workshop which will provide an overview of how to best utilise LinkedIn for your organisation and tailor your strategy to meet your business goals. \nTo make this workshop as bespoke as possible we will ask you a few short questions when you register in order for us to understand the needs of the group\, but we will cover the following areas: \n•    The importance of marketing on social media for business\n•    Setting up a LinkedIn business page\n•    Growing your personal and business LinkedIn networks\n•    Supporting your staff on LinkedIn and vice versa\n•    How to create compelling and engaging posts\n•    Practical examples of what works and what doesn’t\n•    How to schedule posts in advance and tips for smarter working\n•    A chance to share your own experiences and learn from others. \nOur social media workshops are popular\, and places are limited\, so please book early to avoid disappointment. \nWho Should Attend\nThis training is for staff who have the responsibility of social media as part of their role and have a good working knowledge of LinkedIn\, but do not necessarily have a working knowledge of how to make the platform work best for their business. This course will assist in gaining that understanding and how to tailor it to established business goals. \nWhat’s Included \n\nThe workshop lasts for 2 hours but further time is available at the end for any outstanding questions or queries.\nAfter the workshop\, we will send you a pack containing all the advice\, tips and links discussed during the session.\nYou will also be able to pass on follow-up questions to our trainers\, SRX Consultancy\, who will offer practical support (via email or a quick call) to ensure you are able to put everything you learned into action.\n\nAbout the Trainers\nSRX Consultancy is a boutique PR\, social media and communications agency specialising in areas including charity and small business. SRX’s bespoke and tailored training sessions have been running for 10 years – attended by staff from hundreds of charities\, organisations\, and small businesses\, always receiving positive feedback. This workshop will be delivered by Simon Rothstein and Lauren Soar. \nFeedback from previous workshops\n“I found the workshop really beneficial and both trainers answered all the questions asked throughout thoroughly with examples.“
